BREATHWORK FOR KIDS & PARENTS

Parents & kids breathwork and mindfulness class

A calm mind begins with the breath — especially for little ones.

At Rise Temple, our Kids Breathwork & Mindfulness sessions help children, particularly those who are sensitive, easily overstimulated, or living with ADHD, find calm through slow, conscious breathing.

Each class offers a safe, nurturing space for children to regulate emotions, improve focus, and build confidence. Parents join alongside, learning gentle techniques to support calm and connection at home.

Families also receive access to a library of morning and evening guided meditations to continue the practice between sessions, creating a beautiful rhythm of mindfulness in daily life.

THE SESSION

Each monthly class runs for 1.5 hours, blending learning, breathing, and connection.

1. Arrival (10 mins)
Settle in with soft music and introductions as parents and children find their space together in the circle. All equipment is provided to ensure comfort and ease.

2. Breathwork & Visualisation (40 mins)
Through playful, age-appropriate breath techniques and guided imagination, children learn how to slow their breath and calm their minds. Parents participate too, modelling mindful breathing and discovering how shared stillness deepens connection. Each participant wears wireless headsets with soft soundscapes to help them stay focused and immersed in the experience.

3. Integration & Sharing (20 mins)
After the breathwork, children may share how they feel or draw a simple reflection of their experience. Parents enjoy a cup of tea while the kids are offered infused water and fresh fruit.

4. Closing (10 mins)
We finish with a gratitude circle, a calm heart, and new tools to take home.

Why This Class Is For You and Your Child?

This class is for you if you’re a parent who wishes to help your child feel calmer, more confident, and emotionally balanced while deepening your own sense of presence and patience.

It’s especially supportive for families with children who are sensitive, easily overwhelmed, or living with ADHD, and who thrive in environments where they can move at their own pace and be met with understanding.

Through shared breathwork and mindfulness, you’ll both learn to recognise emotions before they build, release tension through the body, and return to a state of ease together.

Parents often notice that what begins as a practice for their child becomes a gentle reminder for themselves, an invitation to slow down, connect, and breathe through life’s moments with awareness and compassion.

On-going After Class Support

As part of your ongoing journey, you’ll also receive access to the Children’s & Parents Meditation Library, a collection of morning and evening breathwork meditations designed to bring calm, focus, and connection into your daily routine. Families often find that weaving these short guided sessions into their mornings or evenings helps strengthen emotional regulation, support better sleep, and create a peaceful rhythm within the home.

These guided practices help parents and children continue what they’ve learned in class, bringing mindfulness into everyday life — before school, during moments of overwhelm, or while winding down before bed.

KIND WORDS FROM OVERSEAS FAMILY VISITING AUSTRALIA

Amanda was magical and so was the space she created. The setting itself felt calm and intentional, and from the moment we arrived our kids were fully engaged. She has a rare ability to captivate children without forcing it, they felt safe, curious, and genuinely interested the entire time.

Experiencing breathwork and meditation together as a family was powerful. It was grounded, gentle, and surprisingly deep. We left feeling more connected and regulated, not just relaxed for an hour and then back to chaos. This was one of those experiences that stays with you.

Highly recommend for families who want something real, supportive, and beautifully held.
